Sales Support / Business Development Representative
Transformational Security LLC is seeking a Sales Support / Business Development Representative to support our U.S. Government and commercial business lines. We operate using a collaborative, team-based approach, and this position serves as a vital member of our Business Development (BD) Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting growth across all market sectors by assisting client engagement, pipeline development efforts, and lead generation.

Responsibilities
- 1. Marketing, Outreach, and Brand Awareness
- • Maintain and regularly update website content and social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn) to strengthen TSLLC’s visibility, engagement, and market presence.
- • Support execution of a coordinated marketing plan, assisting with go-to-market strategies and outreach campaigns.
- • Promote TSLLC solutions through marketing efforts, events, and digital campaigns.
- • Coordinate trade show and exposition participation.
- • Manage industry memberships and consortium participation.
- • Conduct market and competitor analysis to track trends and inform growth strategies.
- • Lead targeted outreach campaigns for specific sectors, agencies, and technology domains.
- 2. Business Development and Sales Support
- • Support the growth and maintenance of sales across government, and commercial markets.
- • Qualify, and track new business opportunities, coordinating proposal development and capture activities.
- • Maintain oversight of the BD travel budget, tracking expenditures and forecasting requirements.
- • Support weekly BD meetings, providing updates, metrics, and progress summaries.
- • Maintain CRM data integrity and a structured repository of BD materials, templates, and presentations.
- • Support and manage partner and channel relationships.
- • Coordinate with other company departments to ensure customer requirements align with delivery capability.
- • Oversee and assist with proposal efforts.
- 3. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
- • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via website, email, or direct communication.
- • Coordinate follow-on actions and ensure responsive engagement with existing and prospective customers.
- • Maintain customer satisfaction through proactive communication, follow-ups, and performance evaluations.
- • Manage customer warranty documentation, service records, and CRM data accuracy.
- • Support long-term account health tracking and relationship continuity efforts.
- 4. Administrative, Operational, and Compliance Support
- • Support BD team ensuring smooth execution of campaigns, meetings, and deliverables.
- • Prepare recurring reports with accurate and timely metrics.
- • Uphold compliance with internal cybersecurity, confidentiality, and data-protection policies.
- 5. Technical and Analytical Skills
- • Demonstrate proficiency with CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
- • Conduct business intelligence research on procurement forecasts, competitors, and industry trends.
- • Support workflow automation and process optimization to improve team efficiency.
- • The successful candidate is expected to develop a clear understanding of TSLLC’s technical solutions and services to effectively communicate value to clients and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- • 2+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or marketing support— preferably in a Government, Defense, or Technology environment.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills – critical.
- • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- • Eligibility to work on U.S. Government-related projects (U.S. Citizenship required) and eligible for a U.S. security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal education in business, marketing, communications, or related fields (or equivalent experience), or applicable experience in TSCM, SIGINT/EW, or Physical/Technical Security.
- • Familiarity with DoD procurement processes, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), and/or ITAR/EAR compliance.
- • Prior experience supporting trade shows, proposal development, or capture management.
- • Occasional travel (≤10%) to support customers, trade shows, training, and industry events.
- • Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP/CRM systems
- • Active or previous U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or higher).
Front Desk Administrative Assistant
Transformational Security, LLC, located in Columbia, MD, is looking for a highly motivated, outgoing, and friendly candidate for a Front Desk Administrative Assistant position. Transformational Security uses a team approach, and our Front Desk Administrative Assistant is an integral part of that approach. The ideal candidate would provide strong administrative support with a positive and professional attitude. This position is a critical role within our organization since this individual is the first point of contact for current and potential customers. Prior experience in an administrative role is required. Candidate must have a clean criminal record and be willing to submit to a background check. Travel is not required for this position and remote work will not be permitted.

Responsibilities
- • Greeting and receiving visitors at the front desk with a positive and helpful attitude.
- • Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls.
- • Taking detailed messages from customers and incoming callers.
- • Receiving, sorting, and distributing daily mail.
- • Ensuring reception and common areas are tidy and presentable.
- • Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/ email.
- • Collect and record customer payment details securely.
- • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and security protocols for a Cleared Facility by controlling access via the reception desk (monitoring visitor logbook, screening visitors, issuing visitor’s badges, etc.).
- • Ordering office supplies and keeping an inventory of stock.
- • Preparing meeting and training rooms (includes scheduling on a working calendar, lunch coordination, and tidiness of the conference rooms).
- • Travel coordination for team members and post-travel expense reporting.
- • Overseeing and maintaining company-wide calendars to ensure accurate scheduling and coordination of meetings/events.
- • Performing clerical duties such a filing, archiving, photocopying, scanning, faxing, etc.
- • Managing internal documentation to reflect the most up-to-date information.
- • Reconciling expenses and credit card statements.
- • Providing administrative support to the Leadership Team.
- • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- • Coordinate and support office social events and annual holiday activities
- • Perform various other administrative duties as requested.
- • Assist with light housekeeping throughout the office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant or as a receptionist with aspirations and skills to support senior leadership.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
